Stop bickering and let soldiers do their jobs

| September 19, 2007 9:00 PM

I haven't been following the letters to the editor column and maybe what I have to say, could have been said before, and I know I have said it before — folks, if you want an end to this war, let the men we have hired and trained to do this dirty work, do it and stop all this bickering of the media and politicians of how to run it.

If we were to go back in time as to how World War II was won, you would find there was censorship and we did not tell the enemy what or when we was going to do something next. Free speech is fine between us, but we sure don't need to be including them in the conversation.

Another thing that "galls" me is the media looks forward to some message ol' bin Laden has to put out more than what our military or president says, and, all he is doing is having us give him free advertising of wanting more cannon fodder for his cause.

I would gladly volunteer to help (at 82 don't know how much help I would be though) to send a few of those imbecile towel heads to their kingdom in the skies, but under the rules our military are having to go by I would refuse. This country is going to 'H' on a bobsled if we continue this way of defending ourselves. Wake up.
