What is paper doing to make housing affordable?

In your editorial on September 20, you encouraged asking council and mayoral candidates what they will do to make housing more affordable.

I would ask the Daily Bee the same question.

Sandpoint's council and mayor undertook an update of our Comprehensive Plan earlier this year; perhaps the largest reason for this is to consider expanding the range of housing choices in the city — where transportation needs are apt to be far less than for outlying locations. The Bee has not covered the public vision development nor the four plan options which are coming from the effort. Hundreds of others have been involved. Where have you been?
