Warren John Gustafson, 84, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at his home in Cocolalla, Idaho.

Warren was born on Sept. 26, 1923 in Oakland, Calif., to Sigfried and Mildred Gustafson. He grew up and attended schools in Oakland followed by trade school to follow in his fathers footsteps and become an electrician.

Warren served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He married Mildred Arlene Dillon in Reno, Nev., in 1946 while on leave from the service. Upon his discharge from the Army, he began working as an electrician in Castro Valley, Calif., retiring in 1989.

Mildred passed away in 2004 and Warren moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, to be closer to his son, Doug. Warren was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and enjoyed fishing, reading, and had quite a hat collection.

He is survived by his two sons, Doug (Shellie) Gustafson of Cocolalla, and Michael (Kathy) Gustafson of Castro Valley, Calif., and two granddaughters, Leslie and Sierra.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Howard.
