Follow rules to keep school's students safe

To all the Farmin-Stidwell parents who park on the west side of Madison Street waiting to pick up your kids - there are signs indicating no parking on that side of the street during drop off and pick up hours.

The reason is simple: safety. Since there are no sidewalks for the kids on this street, they are forced to walk in the street among the school traffic. Parking half a block further away is not too difficult. Several times my husband and I have tried to talk to people ignoring the signs and we are answered with rudeness. Please obey these signs, for the safety of our children.
