Robert 'Bob' Buechner, 82

Robert “Bob” Buechner, 82, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008, at his home in Sandpoint.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at the Pack River Cemetery with full military honors.

Robert was born on July 8, 1925, and served America in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He worked as a rancher his entire life.

Survivors include his wife, Marceline; three children, Claude II (Jenny), Marietta (Larry), and Robert Jr. (Sally); nine grandchildren, Nita, Jeff, Frank, Randy, Rowdy, Ryan, Claude, Collin, and Kim; six great-grandchildren, Brandi, James, Thomas, Like, Jessa and Jeffrey Jr. Also surviving is his sister, Hazel; brothers, Ted, Charley, Raymond, Jim and John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Claude and Marietta, and great-granddaughter, Zoe.

Bob was greatly loved and will be missed.
