Sandpoint girls claim third at tourney
CHEWELAH - Led by Bonnie Snow's 95, the Sandpoint girls team finished third overall out of 14 teams with a 408 at the Sundance Tournament at Chewelah Country Club on Friday.
All six Sandpoint golfers were within 11 strokes of one another, posting the most consistent day they've had all season and taking advantage of some decent weather for a change. Anna Ballard shot a 102 to post her best round of the season.
“Nice to play golf and not fight the weather conditions,” said head coach Jim Alsager. “We're getting ready to break that 400 barrier. Every girl is capable of breaking 100.”

Sandpoint hosts its home meet Monday at Liberty Lake, with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
