Anybody got an answer to violence in the U.S.?

Thirty-six Americans injured by gunfire, nine killed over the weekend.
Baghdad? Basra? No, Chicago. Full story available at http://edition.cnn.com/US/. Lack of leadership due to many of the gang leaders being in prison, is thought to be the reason behind higher body counts over previous years.
Maybe they need some Navy Seals in Chicago? Or stronger Democratic leadership in Cook County? Maybe a “surge.”
