Stein's film is highly entertaining, informative

I wish to urge everyone in our community to go see Ben Stein’s new movie, “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed” (see www.expelledthemovie.com). It is currently playing at the Riverstone in Coeur d’Alene. I went to see it recently, and I give it five stars. It is both highly informative and entertaining.

Ben Stein (lawyer, economist, former presidential speechwriter, author, social commentator, and general all-around smart guy who also has ties to Sandpoint) does a tremendous job of showing how the academic community has censured any critique of Darwinism, even destroying the careers of those who simply suggest that other explanations for the origin of life should be on the table for discussion.

Stein further shows how Darwinism has led to some of the worst atrocities in human history, such as the Nazi eugenics program of culling “undesirables” from the population. One of the highlights of the film is the interview with the famous Oxford biologist and God-hater Richard Dawkins (author of “The God Delusion” and many other such books). This alone was worth the price of the gas, ticket, and popcorn!

I especially urge all school officials, school board members, and especially science teachers to see this movie. It will open your eyes as to where we are heading if we continue to forbid the theory of evolution to be honestly and openly critiqued and alternative theories to be aired. Militant evolution proponents will hate this movie, and for good reason, as it effectively exposes the truth. And of course they will cry foul, but the truth speaks for itself.
