City Beach VB tourney deadline extended

The Sandpoint Parks and Recreation department is proud to present a beach volleyball tournament, Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 24 at the City Beach sand volleyball courts. The tournament will be 3-on-3 coed (you choose the combination). Cost is $75 per team, which includes swag and a shirt. There are a limited number of spots in the tournament so sign up early to guarantee your spot in the tournament.

Registration deadline is Aug. 20, and there will be no day-of registration. Registration forms can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation office (1123 Lake St.) or downloaded on line at "www.cityofsandpoint.com," by going to Parks and Rec, then Adult Sports, then clicking on the "3-on-3 Volleyball Tournament." Tournament details, rules, team requirements and tentative schedule information is on the web, so please check out the site.

We are looking for a name for this tournament so please put in your submission with your registration.  If your name is chosen, you will receive a discount on your registration next year.
