Mary Lee Piatt , 80

Mary Lee Piatt passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Bakersfield, Calif., at the age of 80.

No service is planned.

Mary was born in Sand-point, Idaho, on May 20, 1928, to James and Bernice Piatt.

Upon graduation from Sandpoint High School in 1946, she was employed at Ross Hall Studios.

She is well remembered for her wedding photography, school pictures and portraits. One of her specialties was tinting pictures for Ross Hall. Later she worked in the office at Washington Water Power.

Mary Lee is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bernice Piatt; and sister-in-law, Audrey Piatt.

Survivors include her brother, Kenneth Piatt of Sandpoint; her sister, Barbara (and Roger) Chichester of Bakersfield;  nephews, Doug (and Colleen) Piatt of Sandpoint, Kenneth (and Susan) Chichester of Bakersfield; and Mark (and Susan) Chichester of Kuwait; and her niece Susan (and Bill) Knepper of Centralia, Wash.; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
