Leaving your mess behind is wrong

What a nice present the person with their horse shared with us — again — at Shepherd Lake on Aug. 17.

There, floating in the water, more than a dozen chunks of decomposing manure left for others using the lake.

Are you blind and can’t see that the lake has a path going around it with plenty of other area to give your horse a bath other than the community access area? Or are you just extremely selfish and inconsiderate? Or could it be that you think you and your horse are special above all others?

For those of us who do respect others and the integrity of the lake, it must be said that it is people like you who aren’t welcome in this area. Saddle your horse and gallop out of town.
