Replace sign or face prosecution under law

| August 23, 2008 9:00 PM

To the person who destroyed the political sign on my property:

1. You were trespassing on private property when you destroyed the sign on Schweitzer Cutoff Road.

2. There are video cameras in view of the sign that can identify you. I am giving you the opportunity to come forward and replace the sign, without further consequences. However, if you do not do so, I will proceed to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

I am under the impression that we still have freedom of speech in Idaho (USA), including public expression of our political views. You are free to have your own political views and disagree with mine, but you do not have a right to destroy my personal property because you don’t agree with me. Your cowardly act reflects your lack of integrity, and conviction regarding the constitutional rights of other citizens.

I trust you will take full responsibility for your actions.
