Picture was humorous and not distasteful

In response to the letter, about the 'distasteful photo' showing the Sandpointer Sisters’ picture that was published on the back page , we found it to be humorous, and worthy of publication.

We all need to laugh now and then. We do not know any of the women in the photo, nor have we heard of their group, but we admire their accomplishment, as well as their humor. The Bonner County Daily Bee works hard to bring to the our community local and current events, photos of people and their stories, and always attempts to stray away from the horrors of national news.

We think these beautiful ladies were attempting to point out in their photo that they were “last to finish.” If anyone thought the “rubber butt” was offensive, they need to get a life.
