POAC gives steadfast support to the arts

| December 1, 2008 8:00 PM

Last week (Nov. 10-14) at Sandpoint High School, more than 120 students were able to participate in visiting artist Glenn Grishkoff's brush making and painting workshops due to the generous contributions of private citizens, but also POAC, which we failed to mention in the article published Nov. 13 in the Daily Bee.

I believe it was probably my total immersion in the workshop activities that kept me from noting this to Eric Plummer, who wrote the wonderful article about the project.

I want to remind the public that POAC is a steadfast supporter of the arts at Sandpoint High School and faithfully enhances our visual and performing arts programs in many ways. Without their support as well, the Grishkoff workshops may not have taken place, but POAC is always committed to the mission: To bring exceptional art experiences to the schools and community.
