Rodney Eugene Smith, 52

Rodney Eugene Smith, 52, passed away in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Friday Nov. 28, 2008.

Family memorial services will be held later.

Rodney was born in York, Pa., on Sept. 4, 1956, the son of Rodney and Yvonne Smith. He attended school in Mt. Wolf, Pa.

He lived in Omak, Wash., for five years moving to the Careywood area in 1991. He worked as a superintendent, in commercial construction, in the Pacific Northwest.

Rodney enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and fishing locally. He was very kind and an easy person to know.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Yvonne Hoff of Careywood; two daughters, Jamie Herman and Stacey Smith, both in York; a granddaughter, Briyana; two sisters, LeAnn (and Greg) Howell of Hayden, Idaho, and Tricia (and Geoff) Chamness of Lynden, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Smith and his grandparents.
