Clark Fork girls claim win
CLARK FORK - Shaina Gustafson scored a game-high 24 points, and for the third time this season registered double figures in steals with 11 to lead Clark Fork to a 51-20 win over Kootenia in North Star League girls basketball Tuesday night in Clark Fork.
Mandy Martin pulled down 13 rebounds, Jessica Cartmell scored nine and Zara Palmer six to lead the Cats (4-5, 3-0 NSL), who remain undefeated in league play. Head coach Dexter Vogel said hustle was what he liked most from his team.
"The girls ran all game and were able to move the ball better," he said. "I was happy with my bench, which played a lot of minutes tonight."
Gina Palmiter poured in 12 points to lead Kootenai (0-5, 0-1 NSL).
Clark Fork hosts Lakeside next Tuesday.
