In-store post office opens at Ben Franklin

SANDPOINT - Just in time to help avoid the long holiday lines at the Sandpoint post office, a new office has opened inside Ben Franklin Crafts and Framing.

After purchasing the crafts store several months ago, owners John and Kandy Breckenridge were looking for ways to upgrade the services they offered.

When a postal unit contract came up for bid, the Breckenridges jumped at the opportunity to open their own post office.

The new office offers virtually all the services available at Sandpoint post office, including international shipping, signature verification, insurance, and a variety of different levels of mailing.
