Taija Lyn Belwood

Taija Lyn Belwood, born Jan. 25, 1990, passed away Dec. 31, 2007, after a car accident at 11:30 a.m.

Taija was a senior at Scappoose, Ore., High School, where she was an honor student.

She had been accepted to Southern Oregon University.

Taija's wonderful smile and zest for life will always be missed and remembered by those who knew her. Taija's belief and love for Jesus was very strong.

Taija is survived by her father, Butch Ernie Belwood and mother, Tammy Belwood; her sister, Erica; and brothers, Nick and Tanner, all of Scappoose, Ore.; grandparents, Pat and Linda Milton of Scappoose and Ernie and Diane Belwood of Sandpoint, Idaho; aunt and uncle, Lori and Ande Strites; cousins, Julie and Kobe, also of Sandpoint; and great-grandparents, Neta Decker and Ross and Myrna Payne of Sandpoint.
