Blackwater Worldwide is true terrorist group

Our government would like us to believe there are terrorists in the Middle East who are ready to pounce on us at any minute. As a result, our military is being rapidly depleted and those who come home are losing their Second Amendment right to own firearms.

In their place, our government is financially supporting a terrorist group which should scare the pants off of us all. This mercenary army, Blackwater Worldwide, (formerly Blackwater USA) is advertising in the Hagadone News Network and trying to force its presence on San Diego.

Its employees are above the law of our country and cannot be prosecuted in the countries where they operate. This is the same group who killed 17 Iraqi civilians in cold blood in October 2007, was responsible for the deaths at Fallujah, and were dispatched to New Orleans after Katrina because our National Guard was overseas. Local citizens there were separated from their legally-owned firearms, and had to entrust their safety and that of their homes to these paid killers.

Is this the direction we want our country to go? A brief but ineffective inquiry into the murders in Iraq was held this fall in Congress. We must insist our legislators change the rules by which this worldwide army operates, or get them out of our country. Call your legislator at (202) 224-3121.
