In the Dec. 29, 2007, paper, the story "Most people opt to pay BID," failed to mention the fact that of the 321 businesses that are paying, also do not want to be sued by the BID/DSBA for not paying. They are paying under duress and would be sued by the same people who claim they are there to improve our businesses. We have to close when they put on their events because of the parking issues, which originally they said is how they would be helping us. We have lost 17 parking place since this was established. Talk about a slap in the face.
