Charles Dale Spencer, 64

Charles Dale Spencer, 64, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Sandpoint Christian Center with Pastor Westly.

Charles was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On Oct. 25, 1943, to Dale and Normalee Spencer. Charles spent his early years growing up in Santa Rosa, Calif. When he was 30 he moved to Sandpoint and start Spencer Masonary.

Charles married Antonia Bertolini on Nov. 8, 1978, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

His hobbies included his masonry business, gold mining, fishing, gardening, and raising birds, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Kristina (and Chad) Thompson of Rocklin, Calif. Joseph Spencer of Sandpoint, Heather Spencer (and Kevin Buckhout) of Sandpoint and Dale Spencer of Sandpoint; his grandchildren Samantha Sjostrand, Logan Buckhout, Chase Thompson, Brooklyn Thompson, and Braden Charles; four brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Dale and Normalee Spencer.

Sandpoint Christian Center is handling the arrangements.
