ORDINANCE NO. 2008-2

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PONDERAY, BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO; AMENDING PONDERAY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 9-101(d) TO PROVIDE THAT THE VERSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE APPLICABLE IN THE CITY OF PONDERAY BE THE VERSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE ADOPTED BY THE STATE OF IDAHO; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PONDERAY, IDAHO:

Section 1.00:

This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to Idaho Code S 39-4116.

Section 2.00:

Ponderay Municipal Code S 9-101(d) is hereby amended to read as follows:

d. THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2006 Edition, including appendices: B, C, D, E and F, provided that section D103.2 of appendix D is hereby modified to provide for a maximum grade of eight (8) percent, unless otherwise approved by the fire chief, and any subsequent edition or supplement thereto which is duly adopted by the State of Idaho.

Section 3.00: Effective Date.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval, and publication in one issue of the Bonner County Daily Bee, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Sandpoint and the official newspaper of the City of Ponderay and hereby declared to be the official newspaper for the publication of this Ordinance.
