Timothy Nicholas 'Nick' McDermott

Timothy Nicholas "Nick" McDermott passed away on Jan. 24, 2008, at the age of 20. Nick was born May 1, 1987, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the son of Jan Sletager and Tim McDermott.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Pastor Mike Couch, First Christian Church, will officiate.

Nick had a love for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, antler hunting and backpacking with his friends and family. Nick was always up for a good time. He had a strong love for country music and rodeos. Nick worked around the Sandpoint area as a construction worker.

Nick is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jan and Gary Elvester; his father and stepmother Tim and Nancy McDermott; sisters Dani and Brian Jorgensen, Alicia Moore, Lacey and Matt Lindgren, and Megan McDermott; brother Ryan and Shana Moore; stepsister Dani and Warren Boyd. Nick was the uncle to Nicole, Brandon and Bailee Trinidad, Jacob and Zander Moore, Whitney Reichold, Olivia and Tyler Moore, and Maia and Mark Boyd. He also leaves behind many close friends who loved him; Eric, Max and Jaden are among the many.

Nick will be forever loved and greatly missed.
