Mr. Boyd was a skilled diesel mechanic. He enjoyed a party and, since his birthday was on July 3, they would celebrate on the Fourth with a fifth. He enjoyed hunting, camping, riding four-wheelers, and all outdoor activities. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She lived in Tracy, Calif., working in the defense depot in Tracy until her retirement in 1993. She also worked, as a secretary, for Mountain Sky Publishing and as a bartender for the Sandpoint Eagles.
On July 15, 1978, William Boyd and Michele Michael were married in California. On July 15, 2008, they would have celebrated 30 years of marriage. They moved to Cocolalla, Idaho, in 1996. They found great pleasure in spending time with their children and grandchildren.
