Ed and Dorothy Milliken

Graveside memorial services for Ed and Dorothy Milliken will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the Seneaquoteen Cemetery with Charley Packard officiating.

Dorothy May “Dot” Milliken passed away on July 9, 2006, in Hamilton, Mont. She was born on May 11, 1922, in White Bear Lake, Minn., to Raymond and Lillian Davis.

Dot helped manufacture B-17 bombers during World War II. After the war she moved to Jewel Lake, Idaho, where she met and married Edward Milliken in 1958.

She was active in the Triangle United Women's Club of North Idaho until 1969 when the family moved to Sula, Mont.

Edward Thomas Milliken passed away on Jan. 17, 2008, in Hamilton, Mont.Ed was born on May 21, 1919 near Sawyer, Idaho, to Leonard and Margarette Milliken. Ed served his country in the United States Army during World War II, and afterward began logging in North Idaho with his brother Bill.

Ed loved the outdoors and animals; keeping cows, horses and dogs as long as he lived.

They are survived by their son, Dan (wife Donna) Milliken of Renton, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Erma; a niece, Joyce; and many friends.
