NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 South First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE VS1570-08 - COCOLALLA ESTATES - VACATION OF A PORTION OF ACCESS AREA - ARTHUR & DARLENE YOUNG are requesting Bonner County to vacate a portion of a private access road known as an extension of Terrace Drive on the original plat of Cocolalla Estates, located in Section 7, Township 55 North, Range 2 West, B.M. The petition states the 1,465 square foot triangle does not serve as an access road for the subdivision. The subdivision is located on the west side of Cocolalla Lake, 10 miles south of Sandpoint.

1:45 P.M. - FILE S1458-07 - BLUE HERON ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - BRET APPERT is seeking preliminary plat approval to subdivide a 43.6-acre parcel into 13 lots ranging in size from 1 to 18 acres. The site is zoned Suburban 1/3 and is located off of Gypsy Bay Road, ±10 miles southwest of Sandpoint, in Section 34, Township 57 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its public hearing of June 3, 2008, recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.
