Crazy Days are back in downtown Sandpoint

| July 23, 2008 9:00 PM

SANDPOINT — With summer in full force, it’s time again for Sandpoint’s annual Crazy Days sidewalk sale.

On Saturday, downtown Sandpoint will go crazy when more than 100 retail shops and 30 restaurants join forces to make 2008 the zaniest sidewalk sale ever.

From the City Beach to Sixth Avenue., and Superior Street to Larch Street, early birds will be flocking to downtown Sandpoint and flying off with great deals.

Come down early, get wild, get deals and while you’re here visit the Sandpoint Farmers Market at Farmin Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Only members of the Business Improvement District are insured and permitted to participate in Crazy Days, and the Downtown Sandpoint Business Association, which organizes the event, ask that all participating shops follow proper regulations.

Participating businesses are not allowed to display portable signs, including A frames. Vendors must also leave a three-foot clearance between fixtures with a straight pathway for pedestrian passage. Businesses also need to keep all tables and fixtures on the sidewalk and out of parking areas.
