Happy anniversary to byway plan

Happy 60th anniversary to the original plans for the original plans for the Sand Creek Bypass.

It would be fitting to recognize that the Idaho Transportation Department’s original plans for the Sand Creek byppass were dated 1948, and that is now a long time ago. Those plans were brought into the newspaper office in the very late 1960s and I saw the date on the plans at that time. A lot of water  has come down Sand Creek since 1948.

What else can I say?
