Harold W. Pedrini, 82

Harold W. Pedrini, 82, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Sunday, July 27, 2008.

Catholic graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, in the Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Mausoleum in Sebastopol, Calif.

Harold was born in Montague, Calif., on May 12, 1926, the son of Emelio and Rose Pedrini. He attended schools in the Santa Rosa, Calif., area and lived there until 2004 when he moved to Sandpoint for health reasons.

He was a Teamster, belonging to the International Order of Teamsters. In 1973 he received a 1,000,000-mile accident free award, having driven that many miles on the California freeway system without an accident.  He retired in the early 1980s.

He was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, Calif., and a 50-year member of B.P.O.E. No. 901 in Petaluma, Calif.

Harold enjoyed lapidary work and making jewelry from the rocks he cut and polished.

Harold is survived by his brother Joe Pedrini of Kootenai, Idaho; two nephews, Nino Pedrini of Reno, Nev., and Lee Pedrini of Sandpoint; his niece, Joelle Pedrini of Hayden, Idaho; a great-nephew Ryan Pedrini-Clark of Hayden; a great-niece Lacey Pedrini of Hayden; and a stepdaughter Judy (and Bob) Saleen of Carmel, Calif.

Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Art and Ralph.
