SANDPOINT — Sandpoint super stock car racer Corey Allard will be racing in the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 200 this Sunday at the State Line Stadium Speedway.
Allard blew his motor in just the second lap of the most recent Inland Northwest Super Stock Association race more than a month ago, picking up only 28 points and dropping from 2nd to 7th in the overall series standings, derailing his run at the 2008 cup title.
With the help of Gary Mangum and M & S Engine Works, Allard’s engine is back up and running for the Idaho 200. Allard will race tonight and Saturday night, with both races at 7 p.m., then will race in the main event Sunday at 2 p.m.
