Donations sought for Bonner Adult Day Care
SANDPOINT — Donations continue to come in to the Bonner Adult Day Center, and its total balance has climbed to $10,774. The organization still needs an additional $10,000 to meet its goal for the operation of its six month pilot program.
The day center, which hopes to open by mid-July, will offer respite to the caretakers of elderly demential patients.
BADC organizers would like to offer their gratitude to Panhandle State Bank, Carolyn and George Mundell, Darlene Burens, Deb Fragoso and Jim Willis for their recent donations.
Many individuals and groups have also donated items for the Center’s fundraising dance, which takes place tonight from 6-7 p.m. at the Ponderay Events Center and will feature live music from the Swing Street Big Band. 25 donations will be displayed for a silent auction, including a beautiful water feature from Idaho Stone. Other items, such as restaurant packages, gift baskets, books and art will be available for $15 and up.
Tickets for the dance are $10 per person and are available at Eve’s Leaves, The Bonner County Daily Bee and Sandpoint Furniture, but there are only 200 lefts, so hurry to get yours.
