Frances Hyde, 94
Frances Hyde, darling wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away on May 30, 2008 in Sandpoint, Idaho, where she has lived for the past eight years. She was 94 years old.
A memorial service will be held at the Alpine Vista Retirement Community, 1705 West Pine Street on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. for family and friends.
She was born in Oakland, Calif., and attended the University of California, Berkley where she was a Delta Gamma.
She met and married Arthur Hyde there and moved to Watsonville, Calif., in 1948. They built a home in Corralitos, Calif., to raise their children. They had many wonderful years living there and in Bend, Ore., San Diego, Morgan Hill, and finally Sandpoint, Idaho.
She was a wonderful gardener and had beautiful gardens wherever they lived with the help of her husband, Arthur, a gifted landscape architect.
She leaves her daughter, Carol Fenolio and son-in-law Bart of San Diego, Calif.; her son Richard Hyde of Sandpoint, Idaho; and four wonderful grandchildren and two great-grand daughters
