Rene F. Behrens-Spraggins, 19

Rene F. Behrens-Spraggins, at the age of 19 years, left this earthly life on May 28, 2008, to embark on a new adventure.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, at Hooties at the Elks in Ponderay, Idaho. There will be time for everyone to share stories and music. A potluck dinner will follow and all are welcome. Ren's mother requests friends to please come sober.

Ren was born Sept. 27, 1988, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to Cleo Spraggins and Anna Behrens. Ren lived his whole life in North Idaho, early on around Hayden, Idaho, and then in and around the Sandpoint area.

Ren loved his family and friends. He had a strong passion for anything outdoors in nature. Snowboarding and skiing at Schweitzer was always an amazing adventure. He loved anything athletic including longboarding, basketball, rollerblading, and anything on and in the lake.

He loved music very much. Writing music and dancing were also strong passions for Ren. “Looking good” was very important to him.

Ren was very creative, loving to improvise spontaneously at any moment. He loved to cook and dreamt of being of a chef. He worked at Hooties, Arlo's, Café Trinity, and Spuds. He was accepted to a Culinary Arts School in Pennsylvania. He dreamt of working on a cruise ship in the Carribean.

Ren lived a lot in 19 years. He had many people he loved, and they loved him back. There are many friends and relatives too numerous to list. He is survived by and his mother, Anna Behrens and her family in Germany his father Cleo Spraggins, and his beloved brothers, Stephen and Patrick.

Ren impacted many lives. Please remember him with love - one love, one heart.
