Jennifer Lynn Meyer, 34, passed away in Coeur d'Alene, ID on Thursday, June 5, 2008.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Christian Church. Pastor Eric Rust will officiate with interment in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Jennifer was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Feb. 12, 1974, the daughter of Roy and Carrie Jacobson. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1992. She also graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in forestry and wildlife management. On July 11, 1998, she married Jeff Meyer in Sandpoint. She was employed at Coldwater Creek, as an assistant buyer, from 1997 until 2001. She was a substitute schoolteacher for the LPOSD from 2001 until her cancer no longer allowed her to work.

She was a member of the Cedar Hills Church in Kootenai.

Jennifer enjoyed participating in many activities including photography. Gardening and entering her projects in the Bonner County Fair. She liked camping, fly-fishing and spending time with her daughter Grace and the rest of the family. She watched NASCAR and spent time on her blog, Mangy Moose Acres.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Meyer, her daughter Grace, her parents Roy and Carrie Jacobson, her sister Julie (and Amos) Walkington, her grandparents Ina Jacobson and Leon and Beverly Anderson; all of Sandpoint; her in-laws Doug and Nancy Meyer of Sandpoint; Wendy (and John) Price of Clarkston, Wash.; her nephews Andrew Price, and Jacob Carothers, and her niece Riley Walkington.

Her grandfather Elmer Jacobson preceded her in death.
