Carla Mae Thieren, 56, passed away on June 6, 2008 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Carla was born on Feb. 15, 1952 in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Andrew and Mary Carnegie.

Heaven rejoices today as one of its own returns home. Carla was truly an 'angel on earth,' as all who knew her can attest. Never one to criticize, this talented artist always remained humble. Besieged by pain, Carla was attacked by a particularly brutal form of cancer. Her faith in Jesus Christ never faltered. Our world is truly diminished at the loss of this 'earth angel.'

Our grief can only be lessened when we look at the ever changing sunrise and sunset, for God has a new artist to paint them. Words cannot express how loved she truly is.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Putman of Sandpoint, ID and her father,Andrew Carnegie.
