Gary William Householter

Gary William Householter, 48, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Monday, June 9, 2008.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel in Sandpoint, Idaho. Father Dennis C. Day will officiate and interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be on Monday, June 16th, from noon until 6 p.m. at Coffelt Funeral Service.

Gary was born in San Francisco on Oct. 31, 1959, the son of Gene and Maryellen Householter. He attended schools in Felton, Calif., and worked for Davey Tree Service in Ben Lomond, Calif. He married Gianne Romero on June 16, 1984 in Boulder Creek, Calif.

He lived in Medford, Ore., and moved to the Sandpoint area in Dec. 1991. He worked, as a tree trimmer, for Asplundh Tree Expert Service.

Gary was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and the IBEW, Local # 77, out of Spokane. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and watching his sons participate in cross country events and the sport of lacrosse.

He is survived by his wife, Gianne Householter; two sons, David and Tim, all of Sandpoint; his brother, Gene (and Janet) Householter of Woodland Hills, Calif.; his sister, Laura (and Glenn) Robbins of Ben Lomond; and nieces and nephews Molly, Becca, Brian, Tom, Jamie, and John all in California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
