CLARK FORK — The Fundamental Focus Basketball Camp, put on by former Idaho Vandal and pro basketball player Deon Watson, will be held at Clark Fork High School this Friday and Saturday.

The camp costs $75, and is open to all incoming boys and girls from the 6th-12th grades. Registration will take place Friday morning, from 8-9 a.m., and there will be a lunch each day from 11:30 a.m.-noon. Friday’s session will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Saturday’s from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Campers are expected to bring a sack lunch each day, and should come dressed to play ball, with appropriate gym shoes, water bottle and ball (with name on it) if possible.

The camp is being put on by Watson, Marcel Colbert (former NIC player and assistant coach) and Frank Waters (former Idaho Vandal and Moscow High assistant coach. Watson played for the Vandals in the early 90s, and holds the all time school rebounding record, and is second in shot blocks and games played. He was named to the All-Big Sky first team in 1994.

The camp is based on fundamentals, but is more individual oriented than the bigger camps, with more special attention.
