No one won because of missed opportunity

Both my children graduated from Sandpoint Hhigh School. I volunteered to help at my daughter’s Grad Nite. It is a fun event that says to seniors, “You have succeeded. You’re special and we’re excited for you.”

I have also been a substitute teacher at the alternative high school. I am saddened to no end those four seniors from Lake Pend Oreille High School were not permitted to go to Grad Nite.
