County justice system failed innocent victims

Is it just me? Am I the only one who is repeatedly sickened each and every time the newspaper reports the plea bargaining of yet another sex offender?

It has taken quite a few of these articles to piss me off to the point of writing in, but a recent front page finally did it.

Seems Mr. Hunsaker was sentenced to a whole five years of probation for felony aggravated assault. Wow.

Also, the plea agreement stipulates that he also doesn't have to register as a sex offender. Also on the front page is an article telling of a man arrested in Montana by a SWAT team, wanted in Bonner County for sexual abuse of a minor.

Well, with Bonner County's known track record of handing out probation to sex criminals, I ask why go through the trouble of arresting him in the first place?

Why not just give him a ticket and let him be on his merry molesting way? Bonner County justice, you make me sick!
