Three Top Dogs nab wrestling titles

A handful of Top Dogs split their efforts between tournaments at Riverside High School in Chattaroy, Washington, and Bonners Ferry High School. Because of age limitations, the larger contingent of Top Dogs competed at the folkstyle event in Riverside.

Leading the charge for the Top Dogs was Alex O'Shea. Entering his first folkstyle tournament in over a year, O'Shea defeated three opponents, including the defending Idaho state champion from Timberlake. Additional Top Dog placers included: Gage Sigman, first; Tanner McNelly, first; and Owen Stebbins, second. Tyler Presser captured a second place finish for the Top Dogs while competing in Bonners Ferry.
