Cedar Post raffle is a good deal

| March 19, 2008 9:00 PM

If you have ever read the Sandpoint High School Cedar Post, you know what a great job the students do on the newspaper. They are a great groups of journalists, dedicated to covering their school and community and putting out the best product they can.

Right now, they need our help.

The newspaper is in debt and desperately needs funds. Future issues of The Cedar Post are in jeopardy unless enough money can be raised to cover the costs and repay what the newspaper owes.

These young journalists are aware of the task at hand and have come up with a plan to repay the money and get things back on track. This speaks very well of their character and professionalism.

As part of that effort, the Cedar Post staff is raffling off a prepared pig courtesy of Monarch Meat Company. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20 and are available through Rick Rhodes at 263-3034, ext. 244, or Morgan Wills at 290-8184.

The raffle will be held Thursday, March 27.

Caroline Lobsinger is the managing editor of the Daily Bee.
