Dennis Montgomery, 63

Former Sandpoint resident Dennis Montgomery, 63, of Coeur d'Alene, died at Kootenai Medical Center on Saturday, March 15, 2008.

Dennis was born Nov. 3, 1944, in Millville, N.J., the son of Frank and Florence Montgomery.

He was raised and educated in Vineland, N.J., and later received his associate's degree in accounting in Philadel-phia, Pa.

On Dec. 22, 1970, he married Lauraine (Lori) Morgan in Sandpoint, Idaho. They lived in Vineland for two years, returning to Sandpoint in 1972, where they lived until moving to Coeur d'Alene in August 2007.

Dennis worked for Union Pacific Railroad from 1972 until 2005.

He was an avid bowler and also enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; and his daughter, Jackie Montgomery; both of Coeur d'Alene.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Coffelt Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-6 p.m.
