Alison Diane Wheeler, 48

Alison Diane Wheeler, 48, resident of Elmira, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Kennewick, Wash.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 29, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Sandpoint, with Charley Packard officiating.

Alison was born on Sept. 3, 1959 in Long Beach, Calif. She grew up and attended schools in the San Fernando Valley. She married Tom Wheeler in Bend, Ore.

The couple moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1989.

Alison was a friendly face at the Elmira Store and the old Shell Station at the corner of Highway 95 and Upper Pack River Road, she also helped waitress at the Blue Moon Café when it moved to town.

She enjoyed camping, fishing and riding on the Harley. She was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Wheeler of Sandpoint; a son, Tom (Danielle) Wheeler of Crescent City, Calif.; a daughter, Brianna (Ryan) Wagner of Portland, Ore.; a granddaughter, Kylie Wagner; her mother, Kathy Lewis of San Diego, Calif; and a brother and a sister.

She was preceded in death by her father.
