Reuter best person for commission seat

It’s election time as most of Bonner County knows and I want to put a good word in for John Reuter, a Republican candidate for county commissioner.

Being the managing publisher of the Reader, John has attended more public planning meetings than I could ever imagine. He has written countless editorials on where Sandpoint is going and where we are. He is opinionated, which I appreciate in a candidate for a position in politics. He is decisive and clear but open minded. John is a fiscally responsible, common-sense conservative, always ready to openly debate an issue and to see it from all sides before making a decision.

I am impressed with John’s support of the artist community in Sandpoint also. His articles in the Reader often highlight artists, upcoming shows and student exhibits. He cares about the arts. As the president of the Downtown Sandpoint Business Association and member of the Panida Board he stresses the importance of the arts to the downtown area.

I am impressed with John’s involvement in our community and his excitement to be even more involved by becoming a Bonner County commissioner. He is well informed and does an excellent job of keeping us informed.

Election Day is May 27, I urge you to vote for John Reuter in the Republican primary.
