Chamber welcomes Blue Lizard

| May 19, 2008 9:00 PM

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed Blue Lizard, a native arts store, to the Cedar Street Bridge Market.

Owner Michelle Haun worked with the finest Native American artist for 30 years handpicking all the jewelry and art.

“It has become a passion, and I can’t think of a more beautiful spot to share this talent with you than the Cedar Street Bridge,” she said.

Blue Lizard carries a diverse mix of jewelry, including coral, orange and purple spiney oyster, opal inlay, amber, lopis and a rare collection of turquoise such as sacred buffalo from Dry Creek in Nevada, all of which is set in sterling silver. The store also carries pottery, kachena dolls, rugs, and more, and 99 percent of its handmade jewelry and art is from the U.S.A

If you can’t find what you are looking for, Haun will become your personal buyer to find that special gift or unique item.

The Chamber welcomes Blue Lizard and encourages the community to support this retail establishment.  Located toward the end of the bridge, Blue Lizard is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m-5 p.m.
