Shane Kenneth Beebe, 32, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008, near Sagle, Idaho due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint, viewing will be held from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. A reception will follow. Shane’s father will return his remains to Michigan.
Shane was born on Aug. 11, 1975, in Warren, Mich., to John and Catherine Beebe. He grew up and attended schools in Michigan. Shane attended Oakland University in Michigan for a couple of years. He then met a friend named Ron, who mentored him in the decorative concrete business.
Shane’s number one priority became specializing in decorative concrete stamping and concrete finish work. His trade took him from Michigan to Colorado and finally to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 2005 where he owned and operated Eternal Decorative Concrete. Shane jokingly referred to himself as a real “concrete” guy.
He enjoyed golfing, snowboarding, riding his ATV, sports, Lake Pend Oreille and eating out at good restaurants. Last year he had the opportunity to travel the United States and a cruise to Mexico. He is a member of the Concrete Union.
Shane is survived by Anna Buckmaster and her daughters, Ashley and Kaley, of Sagle, Idaho; his father, John Beebe of Metamora, Mich.; his mother, Cass Tacey of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Ryan (Hillary) Beebe of Clawson, Mich.; three sisters, Erin (Nick) Pazalli of Dearborn, Mich., and Aurora and Avalon Tacey of Knoxville; and his two dogs Cain and Bambi.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A fund has been established at Mountain West Bank in memory of Shane.
