Crossing at Willow Bay opens new yacht club

SANDPOINT — The Crossing at Willow Bay recently announced the grand opening of the Willow Bay Yacht Club.

The yacht club offers such amenities as massages, canoeing and barbecue lunches.

Wayne Ruemmele of Epikos Land Planning and Architecture, who designed the yacht club, said he took special care to make the club fit harmoniously with the natural beauty of the land and water.

The club itself has a two-story, 6,350-square-foot structure located next to the community beach and marina with a great room overlooking the water with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a kitchen, conference room and bar area.

The building also plays home to a library and business center, full fitness center with locker rooms and children’s activity room.

The club offers a boating concierge program, and, upon request, will launch boats already stocked with refreshments, ice and snacks.

The Crossing at Willow Bay is offering complimentary memberships in the yacht club to families and individuals who purchase home sites during its phase one offering. A limited number of memberships will also be made available to members of the surrounding community.
