Linda L. 'Lynn' LaMarche, 54

Linda 'Lynn' L. LaMarche, 54, passed away in Spokane, Wash., on Thursday, May 22, 2008.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint with the Rev. Steve Neuder officiating. Burial will be at the Seneacquoteen Cemetery.

Lynn was born on Nov. 21, 1953, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the daughter of Milan and Geraldine (Brooks) LaMarche.

She grew up in Sandpoint and attended local schools, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1972, and then attended the University of Idaho.

She was active as a majorette in parades during high school and college.

She married Tom Creason and moved to Las Vegas, Nev., working as an executive secretary for the Marina Casino.

She returned to Sandpoint and worked for The Fournier Agency as a secretary prior to moving to Spokane. She worked for the R.A. Hanson Company as a legal secretary for 15 years.

Lynn worked as a certified nurse's aide in the home health care field in Spokane, part-time secretary for a secretary employment agency and later worked for Dakota Direct.

Lynn loved to help others, was active and involved with family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, garage sales, shopping with her friend Rosie, and gardening. She especially was fond of her pet dogs and cats.

Survivors include her brothers, Steve LaMarche (friend Judy Laparie) of Sagle, Idaho, and Tim (Connie) LaMarche of Portland, Ore.; and aunts, Patsy (Jack) Layton of Morton, Wash., and Sue Brooks of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Milan and Geraldine LaMarche.
