Gates named branch manager of PSB's Sandpoint office
Panhandle State Bank is pleased to announce Paralee Gates has been promoted to branch manager of the bank's Sandpoint office.
With 35 years of banking experience, Gates has been with Panhandle State Bank since 1998.
Gates spent her first years with the company as a personal banker before being promoted to operations supervisor in 2005.
"As operations supervisor of the bank's largest branch Paralee has already been handling many branch manager duties," said Travis Kaul, Gates' predecessor.
"This is a very natural transition for her career and a positive change for the branch and our staff."
Kaul will be stepping back from managing the Sandpoint office as he transitions into his role as community business banking manager for Panhandle State Bank.
As business banking manager, Kaul will oversee the lending division throughout all Panhandle State Bank branches in Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone counties.
Paralee is looking forward to taking on additional responsibilities as branch manager and credits the team for helping make this a smooth transition.
"We have a really good team here in Sandpoint so I have a lot of resources to pull from and great people to work with while we make this change," Paralee stated, "I couldn't ask for a better group to work with."
Paralee spends many hours outside of the bank volunteering and supporting community activities including the Bonner County 4-H Market Animal Sale, the Festival at Sandpoint wine tasting and auction fundraiser, Bonner Partners in Care Clinic and Celebrate Life Fun Run/Walk.
In addition she and her husband Tim are part of the Injectors Car Club in which she has been treasurer for the past four years.
Please join Panhandle State Bank in congratulating Paralee and stop by to see her at the Sandpoint branch, located at 414 Church St.
