Community is invited to Thanksgiving celebration

| November 12, 2008 8:00 PM

A Thanksgiving celebration to the community from Panhandle Special Needs, Inc. is planned.

We, at Panhandle Special Needs want to extend our deepest thanks to this community for the over-whelming support you have given us in renovating the old building on Boyer.

It has been a year and a half in the process, but we now have a beautiful and efficient facility which serves over ninety disabled adults.

To honor your contributions we would like to invite you to a thank you open house on Nov. 18, from 3-7 p.m. so that you can see for yourself what has been accomplished!

We will have special speakers at 5 p.m. and will give tours of the building, explanations of programs that help the disabled learn to be independent, contributing members of our community. There will be food provided by the Circle of Friends that started this entire project, with $100, and through your generosity have raised more than $80,000!

So, please mark your calendars and join us in this celebration!
